About Us

Hi! 

We are so excited you are here! Let us introduce ourselves, I'm Melissa, I'm tall and plus size. My business partner, Jessica, is a shorty and petite. Both of us (and both our husbands) are ex- Foley's buyers (a department store that merged with Macy's forever ago). We love apparel but decided we needed to leave our corporate jobs to focus on our families. We have 7 kids between us! We started Striped Box Boutique in 2017 to give us the freedom to do the work we love and balance it better with our home needs. 

We also saw a great opportunity to provide a boutique shopping experience for all sizes. We carry XS to 3XL, with styles that fit different heights and body types. Nothing in the store is going to fit every person, but there should be a few things for every body!
